The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada Women, Infants and Children provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support and services, supplemental nutrition foods and referrals for community services to all residents of Nevada.

WIC FOOD ASSISTANCE

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) food packages provide supplemental foods designed to meet the special nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants and children up to five years of age who are at nutritional risk.

ITCN WIC provides information about nutritious foods and nutrition education. Our welcoming nutritional professionals help eligible mothers and children with everyday healthy eating.

Breastfeeding Education & Support

Most WIC peer counselors talk with new moms in the WIC clinic. They come to WIC during the regular clinic hours to visit one-on-one with new moms and help them feel more confident with breastfeeding.
