ITCN serves all 27 Native tribes of Nevada but welcomes all Nevada residents. See if you or your family is eligible to receive benefits.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

Answer the following question to see if you qualify!

Are you pregnant?

ITCN WIC helps mothers who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Are you a mother with a child age 5 or younger?

ITCN WIC provides nutritional assistance with food benefits and classes.

Are you a guardian of a child age 5 or younger?

Legal guardians and foster parents can eligible for benefits.

Are you a Nevada resident?

You can prove your residency with one of the following: current utility bill, rent or mortgage documents, statement from landlord, or Nevada ID with current address.

What is your monthly household income?

WIC is open to many incomes including working and non-working families. View the specific WIC Income Guidelines below for eligibility.

Families in Need

If you are on Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, or FDPIR, you are automatically income eligible.

You Meet Income Requirements If...

  • You’re a one member family,

    and you earn $0 to $1,986 monthly.

  • There are 2 people in your family,

    and your household earns $1,987 to $2,686 monthly.

  • There are 3 people in your family,

    and your household earns $2,687 to $3,386 monthly.

  • There are 4 people in your family,

    and your household earns $3,387 to $4,086 monthly.

  • There are 5 people in your family,

    and your household earns $4,087 to $4,786 monthly.

  • There are 6 people in your family,

    and your household earns $4,787 to $5,486 monthly.

  • There are 7 people in your family,

    and your household earns $5,487 to $6,186 monthly.

  • There are 8 people in your family,

    and your household earns $6,187 to $6,886 monthly.

HOW TO APPLY

Schedule an
Appointment

Please call 775-398-4960 to have an appointment scheduled at your nearest clinic or click on the button below to contact us. Please bring proof of identification, proof of residency, and proof of income to your appointment. More information about document requirements is below.

Your Appointment

Proof of Identification

For proof of identification for women, please bring one of the following:

• Government Issued ID 
(driver’s license, passport)

• Work or School ID

• Medicaid Card

For proof of identification for infants or children,please bring one of the following:

• Birth Certificate

• Medicaid Card

• Hospital Birth Record

• Immunization Record

Proof of Residency

For proof of residency, please bring one of the following:

• Current utility bill.
• Rent or mortgage documents.
• Statement from landlord.
• Government ID with current address.
• Tribal Identification Card.

If your mailing address is different from where you live, please bring separate
proof of mailing address. Contact us if you have questions!

Proof of Income

What counts as income? Income is the gross income before deductions for incomes taxes, social security, insurance, child support, etc. Must include income from all parties counted in the household. Income from the previous 30 days is considered for income.

 

For proof of income, please bring one of the following:

• Proof of Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR
• Income tax return
• Statement of pay (wages, commissions, fees)
• If no income – you may provide a written statement stating you do not receive any income
