If you are wondering whether you or your family may qualify for ITCN WIC benefits, the information below will help you understand eligibility and guide you through the application process.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

Are you a Nevada resident?

To qualify for ITCN WIC, you must live in Nevada. Residency can be confirmed with documents such as a utility bill, rent or mortgage papers, a landlord statement, or a Nevada ID that shows your current address.

Are you pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding?

If you are currently pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding you may be eligible for WIC benefits. ITCN WIC provides nutrition support, food benefits, and breastfeeding guidance to help you throughout your pregnancy.

Are you a mother with a child age 5 or younger?

Mothers who are caring for infants or young children up to age five may qualify for assistance, including nutrition education and food benefits designed to support your family’s health.

Are you a guardian of a child age 5 or younger?

If you are the legal guardian or foster parent of a child age five or younger, you may apply for WIC benefits on behalf of the child in your care. Eligibility is based on the child’s needs.

What is your monthly gross household income?

Eligibility is based on your household’s gross monthly income. WIC supports both working and non-working families. Income guidelines for FY 2026 are listed below to help you determine whether your household may qualify. If you are on Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, or FDPIR, you are automatically income eligible.

Has a miscarriage occurred?

If you have experienced a miscarriage, you may still be eligible to receive WIC benefits for up to six months. Our team is here to support you during this time.

Gross Income Guideline Requirements FY2026

  • A one-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income falls between $0 and $2,413.

  • A two-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $2,414 and $3,261.

  • A three-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $3,267 and $4,109.

  • A four-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $4,110 and $4,957.

  • A five-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $4,598 and $5,805.

  • A six-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $5,806 and $6,653.

  • A seven-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $6,654 and $7,501.

  • A eight-person household is eligible if

    gross monthly income between $7,501 and $8,349.

Documents to Bring to
Your Appointment

Proof of Identification

For proof of identification for women, please bring one of the following:

• Government Issued ID (driver’s license, passport)

• Work or School ID

• Medicaid Card

For proof of identification for infants or children, please bring one of the following:

• Birth Certificate

• Medicaid Card

• Hospital Birth Record

• Immunization Record

Proof of Residency

For proof of residency, please bring one of the following:

• A current utility bill

• Rent or mortgage documents

• Statement from landlord

• Government ID with current address

• Tribal Identification Card

 

If your mailing address is different from where you live, please bring documentation for both. If you are unsure what to bring, please contact us for help.

Proof of Income

For proof of income, please bring one of the following:

Income is the gross income amount before deductions for income taxes, social security, insurance, child support, retirement plans, etc. Income must include income from all parties counted in the household and must be from the previous 30 days.

 

• Statement of pay (wages, commissions, fees)

• Income tax return

• Proof of Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR

• If no income – you may sign an affidavit stating you do not receive any income
